Women-related counseling:

We are counseling and helping Women and Girls in difficult life situations and when facing problems concerning personal or working life. Our team is supporting women to strengthen their decision-making ability and their braveness and to heighten women´s self-worth.

It is our utmost concern to uncover societal affected discrimination of women. Furthermore we want to encourage and strengthen women’s self-determination and personal responsibility.

The counselor is always on the side of her client. Our work is based on anonymity, confidentiality and voluntariness.

Frauenzentrum is a facility for victim protection of the Federal Land of the Tyrol and a facility for helping women of the Republic of Austria.

Barrier-free access: We do have barrier-free access and rooms if required

Counseling for Women

We are informing, counseling and supporting women concerning following issues:

  • Conflicts in partnerships
  • Breakup/divorce
  • Economic and social problems
  • Life-crisis
  • Violence
  • Counseling related to job-issues ( reentrance, education, compatibility of family and career, occupational orientation)
  • Questions on pregnancy

Counseling is costless, confidential and anonymous (Counseling is also possible via e-mail). Our client is an expert on her situation. We are offering help for self-help, are strengthening the client´s action ability.

Counseling for Girls

We are helping you, if you need somebody to talk or you don´t know how move on. Counseling is costless, confidential and anonymous (Counseling is also possible via e-mail).

It is also possible to bring a friend of yours to the appointment if you like to.

We are informing, counseling and supporting girls concerning following issues:

  • Family, school, job, relationship
  • Questions on career choice, occupational orientation
  • Experience of violence (physical, mental), sexualized violence and sexual abuse
  • Questions on sexuality and contraception
  • Questions on pregnancy

Workshops at schools concerning:

  • Occupational orientation
  • Health (contraception, eating disorder)
  • Self-defense
  • Preventing of violence
